Math Expressions is my specialty. Helping teachers understand how to implement it well and like it, is my passion!

I didn't grow up loving math nor believing I could do it. I grew to love it and grew in my belief I was capable of being not only a good mathematician but a great math teacher.

What does self-directed mean?

Most teachers want to grow as professionals and continue to develop and learn. In our Self-Directed options (Math Genius Squad, courses, and Summits) you get to choose when you want to press play on the lessons and resources. They are pre-recorded and organized for you to access the grade-level, unit, lesson, or topic that you are looking for. You will work on the "lessons" at your own pace.

Even though teachers will be working at their own pace, there are still options to receive coaching from Shannon. She offers a monthly Squad coaching session for Math Genius Squad members, bi-annually LIVE event sessions during Summits, and responsive support to email or social media posts,

What does guided mean?

During guided sessions, Shannon works specifically with you or your team to provide the training that is specific to your grade level, unit, lessons, or topics. Contact us at support@empowerconsulting.org to learn more about this.

I really want to work with Shannon and get all her amazing resources, but I can't afford it. What are my options?

We have had teachers find creative ways to get the professional development support they desire. Some have asked for help with payment from their parent-teacher organization, title funding, grants, splitting it with school, etc...

What about bulk rates?

Bulk enrollment rates begin at groups of 8 teachers or more. Bulk rates can apply to the entire district. For example, if School A enrolls and School B, their enrollment numbers work together for the largest possible discounted rate. Full district options are available, as well as full implementation plans to aid you in your use of the assets inside the Math Genius Squad. How does my school pay for this?

Once your school has committed to purchasing products or services, please have your admin personnel email us at support@empowerconsulting.org. From there we will provide you with an estimate or invoice and continue with the next steps of getting you the professional development and resources that you need to succeed. We accept Purchase Order, Check, Bank Transfer, and Credit Card payments.
